Underhand Serve

ASSESSMENT RUBRIC FOR COLLAGE OF HEALTHY SNACK FOODS
(Grade 3)
Assignment: Using one 8x11 piece of construction paper
make a collage of healthy snack food pictures cut from magazines
or newspapers.

Outstanding
The student clearly demonstrates:
- Knowledge of what is considered a healthy snack food.
- Neatness in preparing the collage for display.
- Selects a variety of foods for the display.
Acceptable
The student usually shows the ability overall to:
- Select what is considered a healthy snack food.
- Display the work neatly.
- Uses some variety in the selection of foods.
Deficient
The student:
- Lacks any understanding of what is considered a healthy
snack food.
- Is disorganized and messy in the work area.
- Selection of foods is incorrect.
